Two Options for Shockwave Care

Precision healing for deep tissue conditions

Focused Shockwave

Focused Shockwave Therapy is a highly precise, non-invasive treatment designed to target deep tissue injuries with concentrated acoustic waves. The focused shockwaves penetrate directly into the affected tissue, stimulating cellular repair and accelerating the body’s natural healing response. This makes it particularly effective for chronic conditions, deep-seated pain, and areas requiring pinpoint accuracy.

This therapy works by increasing blood circulation, breaking down calcifications, and triggering the production of collagen, which is essential for tissue regeneration. It is commonly used to treat conditions like rotator cuff injuries, Achilles tendinitis, and bone-related issues such as delayed fracture healing. Patients typically experience improvements within a few sessions, with long-lasting benefits as healing progresses.

Focused Shockwave Therapy is ideal for individuals struggling with persistent musculoskeletal pain or injuries that have not responded to traditional treatments. With its ability to penetrate deeper structures while minimizing impact on surrounding healthy tissue, it offers an effective, drug-free alternative for those seeking advanced recovery solutions.

Broad-spectrum pain relief for soft tissue injuries

Radial Shockwave

Radial Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that delivers acoustic waves over a broader area, making it ideal for muscle tightness, tendon injuries, and soft tissue pain. The radial shockwaves spread outward, covering a larger surface while promoting circulation, reducing inflammation, and accelerating the body’s natural healing response. This makes it an excellent choice for conditions such as plantar fasciitis, tennis elbow, and general muscle tightness.

The therapy works by stimulating blood flow and breaking up adhesions in soft tissues, helping to relieve pain and restore mobility. It is particularly beneficial for myofascial pain syndromes, tendonopathies, and sports-related injuries that require a broader treatment approach. With minimal discomfort and no downtime, patients often begin to notice improvements after just a few sessions.

Radial Shockwave Therapy is a versatile, cost-effective treatment for individuals experiencing widespread pain or muscle tension. Its ability to enhance circulation and promote tissue repair makes it a preferred option for patients looking for a non-invasive, long-term solution to chronic discomfort and mobility issues.

Thermal scanning to map out treatment areas

Pre and Post Assessments

Pre and post-therapy thermal scans provide a visual map of the body’s circulatory activity, helping to identify areas of concern and track treatment progress. These scans are particularly useful for detecting regions with decreased blood flow, which can indicate tissue damage, inflammation, or chronic conditions. Before treatment, the scan helps pinpoint the areas most in need of regenerative therapy by highlighting temperature variations that suggest compromised circulation. After treatment, a follow-up scan is conducted to assess improvements in blood flow and tissue responsiveness, offering a clear, measurable indication of the therapy’s effectiveness. This approach ensures a targeted and personalized treatment plan, optimizing the body’s natural healing process.

What to Expect During Treatment

The First Visit (Consultation & Treatment)

During your consultation, our doctor will take the time to discuss Waves Regenerative Therapy, your goals, and what to expect based on your specific case. At the start of treatment, we use the device as a diagnostic tool to pinpoint areas of pain and tissue damage. Once identified, we focus the therapy on those areas to maximize its healing effects. The entire treatment session takes less than 10 minutes.

Subsequent Treatments (Care Plans)

While some patients notice immediate improvement after the first session, shockwave therapy is not a one-time solution. Multiple treatments are needed to support healing and ensure lasting results.

Based on your condition and goals, our doctor will create a personalized care plan, typically ranging from 8 to 24 sessions. Most patients see significant progress after 3-4 treatments, with continued improvement over time.

Does Treatment Hurt?

When assessing areas of damaged tissue or inflammation, we carefully guide the treatment source around the affected area to pinpoint the issue. As the therapeutic waves pass through healthy tissue, you may not feel much sensation at all.

However, when the waves reach damaged or inflamed tissue, you may experience mild to moderate discomfort. This response is a key indicator of the targeted area needing treatment. While some sensitivity is normal, the sensation is generally well-tolerated and does not require the use of numbing agents or anesthetics.
