Waves is different. We use focused shockwave technology to stimulate a biological response in targeted tissue.

On your very first visit, we'll tell you whether

Waves Regenerative Therapy can help you.

We Won’t Recommend a Treatment Plan Until We Know You’re a Candidate.

Your first visit is designed to answer three questions:

✓ What’s likely contributing to your knee problem?

✓ Is focused shockwave appropriate for your situation?

✓ How does your knee respond to the initial treatment?

If you’re a candidate and respond to your first treatment, we’ll clearly explain what we found, our recommendations, and your treatment options. Then you decide whether continuing with Waves makes sense for you.

MEET THE FOUNDER & CEO

Meet Dr. David Warman, D.C.

Founder & CEO of Waves Regenerative Therapy

With more than 25 years of clinical experience, Dr. David Warman has dedicated his career to helping people move better, feel better, and get back to the activities they love.

A Palmer College of Chiropractic West graduate and second-generation chiropractor, Dr. Warman has spent decades exploring innovative, non-surgical approaches that support the body’s natural healing process.

After experiencing the potential of focused shockwave therapy firsthand, he founded Waves Regenerative Therapy around one core belief:

Technology alone isn’t enough.

Exceptional care requires the right technology, the right protocols, and the right treatment strategy for each patient.

That philosophy is the foundation of the Waves approach—identify the problem, precisely target the involved tissue, measure the response, and create a personalized path forward.

Our goal isn’t simply temporary relief. It’s helping you get back to living your life.

CLARITY BEFORE YOU COMMIT

Your Questions Answered

How much does the consultation cost?

$79 for your initial consultation, evaluation and first focused shockwave treatment.

How long does the consultation take?

Your first visit is approximately 45 minutes. This gives us enough time to evaluate your knee, perform treatment when appropriate, immediately retest your response, and explain what we found.

Do I need X-rays or an MRI before my appointment?

You don't need to bring X-rays or an MRI to your first appointment. Our assessment combines movement testing, thermal imaging and tissue mapping to help identify areas of abnormal tissue response and determine whether focused shockwave therapy may be appropriate for you.

Does Focused Shockwave Therapy hurt?

We adjust treatment intensity throughout the session based on your comfort and response.

How many treatments will I need?

Treatment plans will be determined based on your body's response to treatment as well as your treatment goals.

Does it work for bone-on-bone knee arthritis?

Having advanced arthritis doesn't automatically mean you're not a candidate. However, every knee is different. Your first visit allows us to evaluate your mobility, tissue response and goals to determine whether focused shockwave therapy is appropriate for you.

What if I've already had cortisone or gel injections?

Recent knee injections may affect when treatment can begin. We'll review the type and date of your injection before your first treatment.

How quickly might I notice a difference?

Many patients notice a measurable change in pain, mobility or function during their first visit. That's one reason we retest immediately after treatment.

Is there downtime?

Most patients can return to normal daily activities after treatment, although we may recommend temporarily limiting strenuous activity based on your individual response.

Does insurance cover it?

This is a non-covered service.

Who is NOT a candidate?

Focused shockwave therapy isn't appropriate for everyone. Certain medical conditions, medications, recent procedures and implanted devices can affect candidacy. We'll review your health history before treatment to determine whether focused shockwave therapy is appropriate for you.

What if I need to reschedule my appointment?

We understand that life happens. You can easily reschedule your session up to 24 hours in advance using the link provided in your confirmation email, at no additional charge.
